This Day In History: February 16 America Recaptures Bataan
The Bataan Death March was exactly what it sounds like. It Took place in Bataan in the Philippines. Just before the death march, General Douglas MacArthur was ordered by President Roosevelt to leave. He did and it spared him to do all the rest of the amazing things he did during the Second World War.

The death march itself was a killer – 75,000 Americans and Filipinos began marching 66 miles to a hideous death–filled train ride – and then 7 more miles of hiking to a hideous death–filled concentration camp. Here’s Ray to tell you about it….
