Almost no mention was ever made on American radio news during the second world war about the Japanese internment camps or what was going on in them. It was a case of America being afraid of even our Japanese citizens. That fear began when Pearl Harbor was so viciously attacked by Japan. More than forty years after the war, Congress tried to apologize for what we’d done. Here’s Ray with this day in history….
