THE ASSAULT ON THE RANCH. Jeff had completed the transmission of the CIO data to WNN/Bangkok. The edited copy would be run as a two hour special on all the WNN worldwide outlets that evening at 7 o’clock. Galt had been in almost constant communication with his documentary chief, Rachel Simmons, during the screening and editing process. The result was a truly revealing account of rot and corruption at the highest levels of government.
Simmons asked one last time, “Are you really sure you want to run this, Thomas? This thing could destroy the government and spark riots in the streets.”
Galt responded, “I guess you haven’t visited the US since you moved to Bangkok, have you? We already have riots in the streets, and I don’t think the honest people of America will destroy their own country when they know the truth. The Master Teacher once said ‘And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.'”
The documentary truly was a work of art, considering the short amount of time the WNN team and to review and edit all the data. It would begin with a dramatic account of the THOR project, including digitized film shots of the launch, explosion, and resulting fire in the sky. It would conclude with detailed accounts of political assassinations by the Rand administration.
