Update on the 2 Australians facing execution in Indonesia from Milton Gillie, our reachmorenow.com correspondent in Australia
Just a brief update to say everything is in limbo at the moment. A court case for one final appeal is being held tomorrow (Thursday). The experts have all said the chances of an overturned decision is very remote. It will take a miracle for any change in legal outcome.
Over the last week the prisoners have been held in solitary on the island prison. They will be given 72 hours notice, which the Indonesian officials have decided to wait until the legal challenge is completed.
As can be seen from the article below it is not that the original decision was wrong but that they have not come to grips with what to do when prisoners have truly reformed.
Once the decision is handed down I expect the notice will be given very quickly. News that has emerged is the engagement of Andrew Chan. Family had been visiting them again after the move has been settled.
