Ray has all these stories in depth now. Join him to hear them.

The tragic massacre of five Dallas police officers was the only story being broadcast on the cable news channels for at least twenty-four hours. If somehow you missed it all, just turn on Fox News or CNN and watch as long as you like. You’ll get all the details, most of them over and over again. But never begrudge so much attention to this story. Thursday was the deadliest day for police in America since the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington.

Yet whenever a story dominates the news like that it shuts down all the rest of the news happening all over the United States and everywhere around the world. Friday is the day our government generally chooses to release stories they don’t really want you to hear. That’s been the real history of things for many many years before President Obama ever took office. So, when Thursday news gets all but shut off by the press too, that leaves a whole lot of room for stories to escape through the cracks. Saturday and Sunday are days off for most major weekday newscasters every week. I try to watch these days even more carefully and let nothing vital slip by you.

To quickly bring you up-to-date as to the killer in Dallas, he was 25-year-old Micah Xavier Johnson from Mesquite, Texas. He was finally killed by a robot that was fitted with a bomb. That is the very first time a robot has been used in such a situation. Before his sudden end, police had learned from him that he had been training for this kill–spree for several months. He was wearing a military–style bulletproof vest and was carrying a military–style rifle. The reason he gave for the killings was that he “wanted to shoot white cops”. He was upset by the killing of two black men in separate states on Tuesday and Wednesday. Both shootings are under investigation.

On Friday, Hillary Clinton in a CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer said “I will call for white people, like myself, to put ourselves in the shoes of those African-American families who fear every time their children go somewhere. I’m going to be talking to white people, we’re the ones who have to start listening to the legitimate cry that’s coming from our African-American fellow citizens.”

Both President Obama and Attorney General Loretta Lynch sympathized with the protesters and the police, but then said what is needed in America now is stricter gun control.

This is Ray Mossholder. I applaud all of the information being released on this brutal murder of five, but I wondered why television channels won’t go further and show the shocking truth of what is happening in Chicago with blacks killing blacks. So far in 2016, there have been 309 shot and killed and 344 homicides, plus 1,773 shot and wounded in that city. 8 so far just this week have been shot and killed along with 9 homicides and 83 wounded. (The difference between shot and killed or a homicide is that a shooting and killing are random and a homicide is the killing of a definite person who has been targeted.)

Don’t you think with those statistics that the news channels would be focusing on Chicago? Why aren’t they? Because  Rahm Emanuel in is the mayor of the city and he is President Obama’s buddy. Chicago could easily be considered the drug capital of America and these killings and woundings are a direct result of that. It’s a lot easier for Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, their cronies and the lame stream media to stay away from Chicago in order to protect that Democrat stronghold from the rest of America’s eyes.

The number of police officers shot and killed in America this year so far is 44% higher than at this time last year. 26 officers have died in the line of duty.

Watching the Dallas shootings, Cleveland police are being trained on how to keep the Republican National Convention from any bloodbaths. 50,000 visitors are expected to emerge on their city, some to see Donald Trump declared the Republican nominee and many others to cause riots. Police will be inside the building and many more outside. All they can hope is that that will be enough. Cleveland is a city of poverty. Police are driving cars “that are” rundown or deficient,” and police now pay from their own pockets for car repairs on the cars that they use for police work.

Hillary Clinton is still in trouble with her emails in spite of what FBI director James Comey appeared to conclude on Wednesday. It was then that he announced he did not recommend an indictment in spite of 14 minutes of describing her as both extremely careless and putting classified details at risk on her many servers, especially when in enemy countries like Iran. But he said that before his visit to the Senate where he spent nearly 5 hours being grilled by Senate Republicans.

There were two major reasons for the Republicans to put him on the hot seat there. First, after fourteen minutes of telling what sloppy work Secretary of State Hillary had done and how dangerous her careless mishandling of her emails really had been, the end of his message seemed weak and unbelievable. Congressmen and Congresswomen on both sides of the aisle were immediately bombarded with phone calls, emails, even carrier pigeons, to protest Comey’s conclusion. None but the people in Hillary’s pocket could believe it was possible to decide that way after Comey read her the riot act for the many minutes before he announced his decision.

The second reason the invitation to the Hill was heartily welcomed by the head of the FBI was because he hadn’t taken any questions at all from the press after he had made his stunning announcement the day before.

It was his meeting before Senate Republicans that once again cracked open Hillary’s scandal and made her subject to further investigation. One of the major reasons that’s happening is because director Comey learned several things he had not at all realized beforehand. Perhaps the biggest discovery for Comey was that what Hillary testified before Congress her answers were the exact opposite to what she had testified in the 3 1/2 hour question session with the FBI. The FBI director continued to say he was glad for this occasion to answer questions and to get important insight.

United States Democrat Representative Corrine Brown of Florida and Ms. Brown’s Chief of Staff have been charged with multiple fraud and other federal offenses in a grand jury indictment that was unsealed on Friday after a lengthy federal investigation into a fraudulent charity that has ties with the Congresswoman.

Corrine Brown has been hit with charges of mail and wire fraud, conspiracy, obstruction of justice and the filing of false tax returns. She has been a representative since 1993 and is sixty-nine years old. Among her charges is that she used her Congresswoman’s official position to solicit over $800,000 in donations to a bogus charitable organization called Open Door, but used the money as a personal slush fund for her and her associates.”

Hossein Salami, the deputy head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which is under the command of the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khomeini, said before Friday prayers on Iran’s state-run TV that Iran now has “tens of thousands of additional missiles that are ready to wipe out the ‘accursed black dot’ of Israel off the map.”

Salami’s hateful statements came at the same time the Iranian Protection of the Constitution released its annual report declaring that Iranian efforts to illegally procure technology, especially in the nuclear area, continued at a “high level” in 2015

The tremendous drop in oil prices, the almost worthless Venezuelan dollar and an inflation rate that the International Monetary Fund predicts will rise to 720% sometime this year, is causing constant riots and killings. The Venezuelan Violence Observatory estimates that there were 28,000 killings and homicides through June 1. Only the black marketers are flourishing.

Some of Venezuela’s 40,000 doctors are striking and becoming militant because of a drastic shortage of medicines, equipment and personnel. 8 out of 10 medicines are running completely out. Many of the sick are dying because of it. The doctors are urging Venezuela’s socialist president Nicholas Maduro to declare a national health crisis and ask for humanitarian aid.

The Health Ministry statistics show that in 2015 for every 100 people discharged from state hospitals, 31 died. That’s a rate 100 times worse than just the year before.

Many cities and towns in Germany are now hurtling towards bankruptcy. The reason? Illegal immigrants that Chancellor Andrea Merkel can’t get enough of. Altogether these municipalities are housing 836,000 migrants. 29% of the municipalities say their areas are being driven into deep debt. They say by December the cost of taking care of the illegals is likely to rise to $70 million. And the most expensive illegals are the unaccompanied children, of which there were 65,000 of them right now.

President Obama danced with delight upon hearing that the United States has created 287,000 jobs in June, which is well over the predicted amount. That’s the good news. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the national unemployment rate is 4.9%.

The bad news is that there are still 94 million, unemployed and able-bodied workers who can find no jobs.

The Feds now say there is almost no chance that interest rates will rise this year. That’s the good news. The bad news is that economists from all over America say the United States is headed for a huge financial collapse sometime within the next six months. Most say they expect it to happen in September.

3 year-old Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is worried. She says if Donald Trump becomes our next president “everything will be up for grabs.” Justice Ginsburg told the Associated Press on Friday “I don’t want to think about that possibility. If Donald Trump is elected president he will have the opportunity to appoint several new justices to the High Court.” The Washington Examiner continues “Ginsburg is the oldest of the eight justices currently on the bench, while two of her colleagues – Anthony Kennedy and Steven Breyer – are closing in on 80.

Trump released a list in May of 11 conservative constitutional judges that he would likely nominate to the Supreme Court if elected president. The list was praised by conservative groups like the Heritage Foundation, but drew fury from Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The latest is that Mr. Trump is asking his former rival Ted Cruz to give him still more names to consider.

Former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson has filed a lawsuit against Fox’s owner Roger Ailes and Steve Doocy, the cohost of Fox and Friends, who claims Doocy “regularly treated me in a sexist and condescending way when we worked together.”

Ailes has responded by saying “Gretchen Carlson’s allegations are false. This is a retaliatory suit for the network’s decision not to renew her contract, which was due to the fact that our disappointingly low ratings were dragging down the afternoon line up. When Fox News did not commence any negotiations to renew her contract, Ms. Carlson became aware that her career with the network was likely over and conveniently began to pursue a lawsuit.

Ironically, Fox News provided her with more on-air opportunities over her 11 year tenure than any other employer in the industry, for which she thanked me and her recent book. This defamatory lawsuit is not only offensive, it is wholly without merit and will be defended vigorously.”

And finally… How many times have you gotten your Big Whopper or a tutti-frutti milkshake by driving to the window of a drive-thru? That’s exactly what Grandma Dolores Otero was doing Thursday afternoon in Cooper City, Florida. But as she began to drive through, she felt a sinkhole starting to open under her car. At first her car simply tilted and for a moment she thought they were safe. But then the ground caved in and the car nosedived into the water. Only one of the cars back tires was left dangling in the air. Quickly Dolores and her grandson were helped by good Samaritans to get out of the car all wet and cold. The sinkhole had been caused by a broken water main. McDonald’s was closed for the rest of the day and Dolores and her grandson went hungry. Now she wants to know who is going to fix her car.

This is Ray Mossholder at the news desk of Reach More Now in Fort Worth, Texas, and I made myself hungry. I’ll be leaving now to get a Big Whopper at a tutti-frutti milkshake. I will watch out for sinkholes. Have a good day.
